Looking Ahead
Please note that there will not be any classes held on Thursday, May 1, as the church will be preparing for a large event that weekend. Our secondary dancers will want to make note of the additional practice time on Monday, May 5. Our last day of classes will be on Thursday, May 15. School will continue for another week but we find with all of the end of the year activities, it is hard for our students to make it to dance. You will only be charged half a month’s tuition for the month of May.
2025-2026 Dance Season
Our 2025-2026 season begins with our SUMMER SESSION in July. Enrollment is open now. The schedule for the full 2025-2026 dance season will also be released in July. As you are current dancers in the program, you will get the opportunity to register before we release it to potential new dancers.
Dance Company
If your dancer is interested in auditioning for one of our performing dance companies, here are some things you need to know! Company dancers are expected to be hard workers, take the required technique classes offered to them, exhibit good behavior, and take summer classes. *Attendance in summer classes is required for current and future company members. An audition is still required at the start of the school year, and acceptance is not guaranteed. During the auditions, a panel of judges will watch to see how well each dancer executes the audition piece. These auditions will take place at the beginning of the school year. A dancer’s attendance and attitude in the previous year will also be taken into consideration. Dancers who do not make company will still have several opportunities to take classes and perform.

The Director’s Heart
As this is the last newsletter of the school year, I want to express the gratitude I have for each of you! We know that participation in our dance program is a sacrifice, both financial and time spent. Please know that we do not take that lightly! We appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you for investing in your dancers’ growth, and thank you for trusting us with the opportunity to pour into them. This year, we have more dancers than ever receiving their milestone awards. We don’t miss the fact that we have had the privilege to watch your children grow! We love seeing what God is doing in their lives. There are so many moments that stand out to us this year. Of course, the amazing performance opportunities so many of our dancers have had. Our dance companies performed at the Orlando and Osceola Magic games, Dance Revolution dance convention, and Earthshaker’s Talent Competition. Our teams partnered with the athletics department this year and supported our school by performing in over 10 sports games. Our alumni team, along with our secondary elite dance company, performed at the church’s Christmas services for close to 6000 people! And let’s not forget our amazing recital productions and school concerts. What fun opportunities we have had! Over the year, it has also been special to witness dancers encouraging each other during classes in such a beautiful way. We have watched them work hard to obtain a skill, and so many of them have found little ways to encourage our teaching staff. What an incredible blessing you all are. Thank you for an amazing year! We look forward to finishing out by celebrating with you at our Made for More recital production on May 10! Let’s do this!
Made for More Recital Production
We are so excited to watch the dancers shine on stage in our Made for More recital production on Saturday, May 10, at 1 PM. The show is held in the Mainstream Youth Auditorium and is free to anyone who wishes to attend. Please review the REHEARSAL AND ARRIVAL SCHEDULE and the RECITAL ORDER so that you know what to expect. The show does run very quickly. We no longer have backstage parents, but ask that if your dancer needs assistance in changing costumes during the show, a female family member slip backstage to assist them. Before and after the show, parents and guests will have the opportunity to purchase recital shirts as well as our brand new Dance Mom and Dance Dad shirts. We are looking forward to an incredible show!

Closing Dance Information
This year, we are attempting to do a choreographed dance number with ALL of our dance students at the end of the show. Most dancers will learn these dances in their regular classes. Our 3rd-5th-grade female dancers can learn it during the tricks class on Monday, from 3:10-3:40, starting on April 21. If your 3rd-5th grade (female) dancer does not normally attend during that time, we encourage them to attend on April 21 to learn the dance. (If they choose not to learn it, they will likely not be in the closing dance number.) Our middle and high school dancers will have the opportunity to learn the dance during the stretch/conditioning class on Wednesdays or during the stretch class on Thursdays. Videos will be added to the practice drive for anyone who can not attend the practice times. We would love for everyone to take part and are looking forward to having all of our students and staff close out the show together!
Recital Shout-Outs
Last call for our virtual shout-outs. A fun slideshow with encouraging messages to our dancers. If you would like to purchase a shout-out for your dancer for $5, please email us with a picture and the message that you would like displayed. We will accept shout-out requests through May 1.
